Property - Room/Unit Management

Managing rooms and unit types in a property listing is essential for accurate representation across channels and ensuring guest expectations are met. This guide walks you through the steps to view and manage room/unit details in the admin panel.

Once in the property, click the “Room/Unit Management” tab from the top navigation bar. Please note, for multi-unit structures this action should be performed on the Unit Type (Room Type) property level. 

At the top, you’ll see the room type card including:

    • The name of the room/unit

    • Image of the unit

    • Number of units to sell

    • Total occupancy (in this case, 2)

On the right, you’ll find Property Information such as:

  • Number of Bedrooms: 1

  • Number of Bathrooms: 2

  • Number of Living Rooms: 1

This section helps ensure that the overall layout and capacity are correct.

Sub-Room & Sub-room items

Scroll down to the Sub-rooms section. Here you can see detailed breakdowns of each room within the unit:

  • Bathroom 1 & 2: Includes a shower (Item: ITM023)

  • Bedroom 1: Includes a double bed (Item: ITM008)

  • Living Room 1: No sub-room items listed yet

  • Kitchen 1: No sub-room items listed yet

Each sub-room box has the following options:

  • Edit: Modify room details or contents.

  • Add: Insert new items or features into the room.

  • Delete: Remove a sub-room from the listing.

💡 Tip: Providing correct and complete sub-room information helps travelers better understand the layout and amenities of the property. This can lead to higher guest satisfaction and fewer questions or surprises upon arrival. The more information provided the better.

Edit or Add Sub-Room Items

There are multiple ways to build sub-rooms and the sub-room items. You can do it on this screen but for SAPI partners and PMS systems that support sub-room information, this information is retrieved from the API, these sub-rooms will then have the 'imported' tag.

To manually customize each room:

  1. Click “Edit” on the desired sub-room.

  2. Add or modify furniture, amenities, or features.

  3. Click Save to confirm changes.

You can also add new sub-rooms using the “Add Sub-room” button in the top right.
