What is the timeframe for properties to go live and become bookable on each channel/OTA after activation?

This article outlines the expected time it takes for properties to become visible and bookable on each connected channel, after they have been correctly enabled in the NextPax Core system.

 

  • Airbnb
    Properties are typically live and bookable almost instantly. In most cases, it takes no more than a few minutes after being enabled in the NextPax Core System.

  • Holidu
    Listings are usually published immediately, but it can take a few minutes before they are fully visible and bookable after activation in the NextPax Core System.

  • Booking.com
    Depending on system load and content volume (e.g. number of pictures), properties are generally live within 45 minutes to 1 hour after being enabled in the NextPax Core System.

    Also keep in mind that Booking.com generates the property description automatically based on your selected facilities. The description you see in NextPax Core (and which you may have shared with us) will not appear in that same format on Booking.com.

  • Vrbo
    Vrbo retrieves property data from the NextPax system. As a result, it may take a few hours for listings to appear and become bookable on their platform.

  • HomeToGo
    Like Vrbo, HomeToGo pulls information from NextPax, and it can take several hours before listings become visible and available for booking.

  • Distribution API Channels (e.g. Whimstay, Muchosol, Finn.no, Check24, Allyourz, Alltime Travel, BestFewo, Bluepillow, Buenro, Campingvision, Bungalowspecials, Daenemark.de, Dog Friendly Retreats, Feline, Ferienhaus.de, Hondenopvakantie.nl, Hopper, Plum Guide, Simply Sea Views, Travelstaytion, VacationRenter, VacayMyWay, Vakantiehond.nl, Vipio)
    These partners synchronize data directly from the NextPax system. It may take a few hours before properties appear in their systems and are bookable, depending on their refresh cycle.

  • Expedia
    The time for properties to go live depends on the current load of the Expedia platform. Under normal conditions, listings are visible within 45 minutes to 1 hour.

    Also note that Expedia automatically creates the property description using the facilities and details you’ve entered. The description shown in NextPax Core will be used as input, but the final version on Expedia will be generated in their own format.

  • Google
    For Google, the listing process is slower. Properties may take anywhere from a few days up to 3 weeks to become live and bookable.

  • Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy
    Each property is manually reviewed by Marriott’s team. The time it takes to go live varies based on their internal processing speed and can range from one day to several days.
