The articles around general information provide all the details of the submenu items: general, photos, description, reviews, point of interest. This tab we discuss the 'general' sub-menu.
Under General Information, general, of a property menu the most basic information about the property is stored. We will use this article to go over this information in more detail.
Under General we showcase the following information:
NextPax Property ID: The assigned ID from NextPax for a property.
Property Manager Code: The assigned ID from NextPax for a property manager.
Full Name: The full name of a property manager.
PMS Property Reference: The assigned ID from the supply connectivity system, which can be an external pms, system of the property manager or the Nxtbeds id.
Property Name: The name of the property.
Original Property Type: The property type of the property.
Classification: indicating whether it's a multi-unit, unit-type or single-unit
Maximum #of Pets: The maximum number of pets allowed at the property.
Property License Number: The license number will show in case a property needs to have it.
All these fields are grey, meaning that the data is taken from the import. There are two editable fields, these are:
- custom property name: This can be used if the accommodation partner wants to assign a different property name to a property, rather than the one taken from the pms. This is also used in case the PMS cannot sync a property name to NextPax.
- custom property type: This can be used if the accommodation partner wants to assign a different property type to a property, rather than the one taken from the pms. This is also used in case the PMS cannot sync a property type to NextPax.
Once the custom property name and/or property type are selected, these will be used when we are distributing the property to a channel.
Below the general information the user will find the check-in, check-out information, which is editable and the address information which is uneditable. The address information also includes the coordinates for latitude and longitude, which we then use to locate the property on Google Maps.
