This section goes about the properties page section of NextPax Core CMS and explains all the elements we have in this section. Here the properties overview is being discussed.
The properties overview is the first page the accommodation partner will see once they click in the left menu on 'Properties'. It provides an overview of all properties that were synchronised into NextPax Core CMS and that are ready for distribution.
In this overview we do have two tabs. One tab for single unit properties and one tab for multi-unit properties with their respective unit types (either property types, and/or room types. What is the difference between these.
Single-Unit Properties: These are whole-rented and standalone holiday homes, apartments, villas, tree-houses, boats and or other properties, that don't belong to a resort, holiday park or hotel.
Multi-Unit Properties: These properties are properties that are selling a multitude of accommodations on the same location, often provided with central services, restaurants, swimming pools, gyms and have a central reception/check-in area. Examples of multi-unit properties are hotels, resorts, holiday parks, aparthotel, motels, bed & breakfast's and/or ryokans.
Under the Multi-Unit Properties there are also the Unit Type Properties, these are the sellable house and/or room types of a Multi-Unit location. In a hotel it can be the room types and/or suites: eg. standard room, executive room, junior suite, suite, etc. And on a holiday park or resort it can be a 2 person villa, 4 person villa, 6 person villa, 15 persons deluxe villa.
Within the Multi-Unit & Unit Type tab, accommodation partners can choose whether they would like to see the multi-unit with their respective unit types or solely the multi-unit properties.
Within the properties tab we also have 2 main statuses for properties, either properties are active in Core. It means we are continuously receiving these properties via our import mechanism (from the PMS, from the Supply API, Nxtbeds, or any other supply integration). Or they are or have become inactive, this means the particular property has gone missing from the import mechanism, due to:
- It no longer be a synchronised via the import mechanism: PMS, Supply API, Nxtbeds etc.
- No longer sellable or has left the accommodation partner
- Property is not passing the import validation requirement.
Within the overview, accommodation partner can still search for inactive properties in our system, for this they have to use the drop-down on the top right of this overview. They can view either all properties ever synchronised, the active ones, or solely the inactive ones.
When accommodation partners want to see more details of a certain accommodation: general info, content, availability, pricing, policies, channels, rate-plans and other information, they can just click any property to navigate to that particular property.
Also they can click the quick-links on the far right, clicking the calendar icon will take the accommodation partner to the availability tab, clicking the globe will take the accommodation partner to the channels page.
