      Policies & Rate-Plans - Children Rates

      In this section you can set children rates, if you have specified these for your accommodations. At the moment this is only available for Booking.com

      1. Defining age buckets

      Firstly, a User needs to define age buckets for Booking.com channel.

      A User needs to define at least one age bucket to send children rates to Booking.com (see conditions here) and maximum is three. Also, age buckets cannot overlap.

      1. Creating child rates

      Users can create a new “Child Rates” subtab under Account Settings → Tools → Cancellation Policies and Rate Plans:


      All Child Rates are created on accommodation partner level and cannot be created on property level in order to avoid conflicts in connecting them to Rate Plans.

      Now you can edit the Child Rate Name and price for defined age buckets. Currency is set to property currency and cannot be changed. User can create a Child Rate or cancel adding a new one as shown in the picture. After successfully adding a Child Rate, Child Rate is set to active automatically.

      3. Connecting child rates

      Now you can connect child rates to a normal rate. You can also define a period when the child rate must be active. If you do not define the time period, child rate will have the same validity period as a normal rate.
