Muchosol - Rate-Plan Configuration (SELL for B2C & NETT for B2B)

Muchosol requires accommodation partners to setup 2 rate-plans for distribution on Muchosol. This article tells why and how.

As Muchosol, part of Viajes El Corte Ingles, both distributes to B2C and to B2B channels they need from every accommodation partner a Sell Rate Plan and a Nett Rate-Plan

Sell Rate Plan for B2C websites.

The sell rate-plan is just a normal rate-plan, using the standard pricing of the accommodation partner. You can create it in Core and make it specific to Muchosol as a channel. Couple of things you need to set, aside from selecting the right restrictions and policies for the sell-rate-plan

Always provide this name.

And always make it channel specific to Muchosol.

And for the sell-rate-plan, apply default pricing (unless an accommodation partner is feeding channel specific prices, then take the Muchosol rate) without a entered discount, because we want to distribute the rates as we receive them.

Once the SELL RATE PLAN is setup, you need to go ahead and create the NETT RATE PLAN

Nett Rate Plan for B2B distribution

Pre-requisite for creating the NETT-Rate-Plan is that you know your agreed commission with Muchosol. Best to ask this to Muchosol.

Within B2B business it is normal to sell nett prices (nett rate = sell rate - muchosol commission). Muchosol then offers this in the B2B ecosystem, which allows the accommodation to be packaged or to be resold by distributors.

In NextPax Core, you can create another rate-plan and aside from all the normal restrictions and policy selections you now need to do these actions in particular. Please note: In this example the commission that the accommodation partner pays to Muchosol = 14%.

Always provide this name.

And always make it channel specific to Muchosol.
