This section will explain all the steps to activate particular channels, manage channel settings, and how to enable or disable accommodations from a channel. This article will focus on the third tab 'Property Overview'
In the property overview, accommodation partners using NextPax Core CMS can per activated channel see which accommodations are enabled or not, where the content synchronisation is activated and what the status on a channel is. Moreover most partners can also enable or disable properties from the channels here. For NextPax Supply API and Nxtbeds accommodation partners, they can perform these operations from their respective systems instead, and will have a view-only functionality here.
In order to start seeing the right statuses and setup of this page for an activated channel, the accommodation partner needs to select the channel in the top right:
Once selected, it will populate the results of the properties on that channel, whether these are disabled, enabled, All-in Sync (content included)or only on ARI (availability Rates & Inventory) + Reservation Management sync.
In case an accommodation partner would like to make changes, they can use the property selector on the left to select the properties they would like to change the distribution status for. They also can select all the accommodations they wish to change the distribution status for.
Moreover the page offers a filter, to zoom in in on a particular set of accommodations.
And a report with all information shown in this table can also be downloaded.
Further in the right of the table, you'll see the current status for whether the property is enabled for distribution to a certain channel, and also if content is enabled for the channel.
In case the channels are delivering statuses back to our systems, property managers can read out the status of the properties on the distribution channel in the last column. These statuses are also represented on channels page on accommodation level.
In order to enable or disable a property, or to change the content sync status - the accommodation partner would first select a property and then use the buttons on the right 'enable' or 'disable'.
If the accommodation partner clicks enable the following box will appear as a pop-up. It shows the required pre-requisites before enabling an accommodation partner, and also asks the accommodation partner if they would like to export/manage the content as well.
If the accommodation partner is using Supply API and/or Nxtbeds the following pop-up will show:
