This section describes the channel-settings that accommodation partners should complete when they are onboarding to Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy
This page informs you as the accommodation partner about the channel settings of Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy and how to fill this page in correctly. One can navigate to this page via Channels → Channel Settings, or via Channel - Channel Overview - Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy and then via the quick-link to Channel Settings. It will open this screen, with all the settings available for Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy:
We will now go over each section to explain what the settings are used for:
Credentials
HMC ID: This is the account ID provided by Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy to the accommodation partner. This HMC ID is required if the accommodation partner wants to successfully distribute their accommodations towards Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy.
Then there are two tickboxes we would like the accommodation to confirm.
Channel Commercial Agreement: Is the accommodation partner in commercial agreement already with Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy?
All stays include required amenities: Here the accommodation partner double confirms that on all stays the required amenities are provided by them. This is vey important when distributing to Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy. The required amenities are:
24/7 Support - Professional Cleaning (pre and post stay) - High-Speed WiFi - Kitchen Essentials (Cookware, Utensils, Microwave) - Bathroom Amenities (Soap, Shampoo, Hair Dryer) - Premium Linens and Towels - In-Unit Washer - Television
General Settings
Booking Setting: The accommodation partner can either select (instant book, both, or on-request only). The best for conversion is instant-book.
Maximum LOS: Here the accommodation partner can inform what the maximum length of stay is for travellers on Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy to book their accommodation. A number needs to be provided here and please be mindful that if eg. 90 is entered, the Maximum LOS is 90 days. Also, then make sure the pricing and availability for such periods are provided.
Use Headline as property name: If accommodation partners rather want to use their headline description type, then the property name, they can tick this to 'Yes'. In that case, if provided ,we will distribute the headline description type as property name.
Fees are taxable Accommodation Partners can select here if they need to be their fees to be taxable. This is applicable mostly in the United States. If their pms is already providing the tax on the fees, this should be disabled, else if not, it should be enabled.
