Airbnb - Create a new host account

NextPax supports the functionality for accommodation partners to create host accounts from our system in a fraction of a minute.

When a partner is new to Airbnb, accommodation partners can now create their host account via the NextPax system. On Airbnb there are two types of host accounts, a normal one and a professional one. Professional accounts are accounts that have more than 6 listings.

The process for host account creation is as follows.

  1. Create the host accounts

  2. Build all the listings (if the partner has more than 6 listings and want to test with a few first, 6 listings is the minimum, otherwise they don’t get the professional account that they need later).

  3. Ask accommodation partner to verify the host accounts (steps on Airbnb directly).

  4. Publish all the listings

Two things about host account creation and management of properties.

1. It is advisable to not put more than 2.500 properties in a single host account, for performance/speed issues, when you login to Airbnb on your host account. If you have more properties, kindly create multiple host accounts via our tool

2. Switching properties between host accounts is not allowed. If you manage multiple host accounts, decide well on what property goes where.

How does host account creation work?

First Login into NextPax Core CMS, and navigate to Channels and Channel Setting

Once the channel settings are open, you can select the tab host account information. Here you will see the range of host accounts already built, and the option to create more host accounts.
 
Then you can select 'create new host account on Airbnb'. Once you clicked that button, there is a selection to add an existing host account or creating a new host account. In this article we will focus on creating a new host account.
And fill out the information, that is requested. 

Around these details, it needs to be company owner or the one that is allowed to sign the agreement and do the legal host account verification. The PM will also receive an email to verify the account. In case multiple host accounts are to be created, the first name, last name and date of birth needs to be same for every registration, but the email address needs to be unique (some partners opt to create extra email adresses like airbnb@propertymanager.com, airbnb2@propertymanager.com, to work around it.
 
After this procedure is completed the new host account will be visible in the channel settings. Moreso the accommodation partner gets a verification email, to verify the host account, which is taking place on Airbnb's system.
