Agoda property status is only available for properties created via the API

Why some live, bookable Agoda listings return no status information

When a property is distributed to Agoda, the property status information that NextPax can surface for that listing is only available when the property was created through the API. For listings that were set up outside the API, Agoda does not expose status information back to NextPax, so no status is shown — even when the listing is online and bookable on the channel.

This is expected behaviour on Agoda's side, not a fault in the connection. A listing can be fully live and bookable on Agoda while still returning no status information, because the two are independent: bookability depends on the listing being active on the channel, whereas the availability of status information depends on how the property was originally created. Agoda has confirmed that its property status feed is intentionally scoped to API-created properties and is not meant to cover every property.

In practice this means that when a property was onboarded to Agoda by any route other than the API, the missing status is not something that can be fixed by re-syncing or by action on the NextPax side. The listing should be checked directly in Agoda's own tooling to confirm it is live, and status information should only be expected for properties created through the API. This is specific to Agoda and should not be assumed to apply to other channels.
